English Lake District

This page draws views of the landscape across a 60km (~40 miles) square area of the Lake District in Cumbria, England, famous for Melvyn Bragg, William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter (in ascending order of cultural significance).

The first view is of Wast Water with Great Gable in the distance. To move to another location either enter the UK grid coordinates, the height above the ground in metres and the compass heading in the boxes above and then press "draw", or set the location and direction of view by clicking on the map.
